Finally got around to seeing this one. Heard praise around it for years & years.
The movie gets good about an hour in. You expect the twist, then they basically tell you that you’re wrong. Then they say JK, you got it right, that was the twist.
Last 30 mins were def entertaining, and the mastermind does his thing.
I think this movie does not live up to the praise that people bestow on it, but nonetheless I would class it as a solid film by the time the last words are spoken by Mr Soze.
Vietnam War in the future + running bomb robot + dog tosses bomb at robots + robot monk + Death Star (the AI version) + boring characters (unfortunately) = this movie.
