enjoyable enough. fell asleep twice trying to watch it, but woke up both times near the end during loud space pew pew fights. loved Jaw's storyline.
Bond was so paranoid about shooting inside airplanes during Goldfinger, but I guess it's okay to shoot a gun in space?
It took a while for this movie to find the plot. The first and second act felt jarringly divorced, so much so that when a character from the first act re-emerged in the third act, I'd nearly forgotten the character was from the same movie. The "creative" cinematography felt more off-putting than innovative. The choreography of the stunts was repetitive; you could make a drinking game every time someone does a flip.

Excluding Kurosawa, every movie I've seen over three hours suffers from bad writing and editing, and this took the cake. The characters and stories were bland, any character development happens off-screen.The movie is a stream of the bad and boring parts of Brody's life. Attempts to use tragedy to make the movie interesting instead felt disingenuous and pandering.
Instead, half the film reel was used for sex scenes, and the other half for static shots of irrelevant stories that droned on monotonously. What a waste of good film.
