What a strange third act. Normally I don’t really care about predictability in a movie but the setups for the “twist” here felt so plain and sloppy that it ultimately kinda undermined a pretty good payoff imo. Also what an overbearing and unnecessarily dramatic music score; there’s a good chunk of the movie where it was absent and the movie was so much better for it. Luckily some really great performances and the set dressing of the Vatican Church do elevate it a good amount.
