I was surprised about how much I enjoyed this, and it was not what I expected. It’s run and gun, fast and, grimey. Two absolutely excellent performances with an ever more excellent WHAM team.

This movie is like someone slowly sticking a hot clothes pin into the skin on the back of your neck, and whispering in your ear that no one loves you. One of the best cinematic experiences I’ve had in a long time, this film is so deliberate and yet understated. God damn.

Omg I love seeing women get brutalized for 2 and a half hours.
I kept waiting for this movie to say something that was profound enough to justify the relentless putrid violence throughout. Let’s just say it didn’t even come close. There are some cool shots and cool fight choreo, but there are lots of movies with cool shots and cool fight choreo, that don’t also include an up-the-skirt shot of a child. Yuck.
