A film for the soul

Made it through this time, a lovely compliment to the latest release providing a deeper insight into bob’s way of being in those first few years.

I was struck by Bob’s ability and commitment (whether it was conscious or not) to being a vessel for what was happening at that time. Scorsese in these films does the same - he shows you the person without adding anything unnecessary

Very entertaining, great acting -it’s hard to do a bad job with such an amazing artist like bob dylan or a period like the 60s in the US. I typically like James Mangold films and this was no different. I enjoyed the focus of the film - it didn’t try and tell his whole story it just tried to give us a window into his artistic journey.

Will it make you think much or blow your mind… probably not but sometimes a film just needs entertain. Good job all round.
