    The amount of visual comedy in this is unbelievable. Blink and you've missed a couple of gags already. Story wise, there's not much going on and it loses some steam in the second half but who cares when you're having fun.

    There's like 20% of this that resembles an actual good sequel to the first movie but the rest is so unhinged and out of place that it really makes you question the why behind it. Joaquin Phoenix's unquestionable commitment to the role is admirable but ultimately in vain. The discussion and controversy it generated however was quite amusing.

    I think at this point it's safe to say that Bong Joon Ho's English-speaking movies just don't hit the same as their Korean counterparts. And I say that as someone who really enjoyed Snowpiercer and Okja.     Irreverent and funny, as you'd expect a movie about Irish hip hop to be. Kind of misses a few beats here and there when it tries to get either political or dramatic but the chemistry between the main trio is enough to carry it till the end.
