This is the highest rating that my personal convictions about the contents of this film will allow me to make. It is a well done film, but it is absolutely horrific and disturbing. I will never watch it again.

Upgrade 2018
Sometimes, stylish ultraviolence is what the doctor orders, and this movie delivers. Is it weird to say that this movie uses gore tastefully? There's not TOO many scenes of gore, but when there is, it makes a statement.
This movie is the plot of Gladiator mixed with Robocop, done with an exquisite early-cyberpunk style. You'll be able to predict 95 percent of the end of the film, but this is a rare moment where it doesn't matter to me. It's a well-told story with great visuals and provides philosophical depth.
