This movie is my favorite representation of gifted and talented people in cinema. I would consider myself falling into the category of gifted and talented. During this film, I found myself making connections and understanding the choices the character makes. I felt, that if I were in the situations he was in, I would do the same thing. This movie is the most connected I have ever felt with a movie. This movie is my personal, "literally me" movie. It…

This is a beyond perfect film. It dissects a character that makes you question again and again if he is capable of loving someone. A film about ideals, but it also critiques society. The characters are vastly different and all represent different viewpoints, which gives us a better idea as to the ideals of the lead, and helps to bring home the key points. Humanity is terrible, humanity has hope, we will endure, what's the point... I don't care, love helps us to look past what we have done, we are doomed.

I honestly wish this was longer. It uses its runtime so well and keeps me captivated the entire time. This is the movie of the year for me. Adrien Brody kills it. Just wonderful storytelling. Did not disappoint.
