The first movie Ive seen in a while that is just purely fun in every sense of the word. Every aspect is fun - the characters, their interactions, the premise, every single line genuinely there is not a line of fat that could be trimmed. The reverend mother was my favorite by and far. Got me rethinking my apathy towards orange marmalade

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim 2024
I am happy that they actually went for it and made this style of lotr movie, but overall it falls short. The animation was inconsistent, a few scenes were great while most were ehh and some were just outright bad. The plot was not compelling (whole thing starts bc some dudes dad is bitchmade??), so i could never buy into the severity of it. None of the stories felt properly fleshed out.
