Cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world. A mirror by which we often see ourselves. A true reflection of society.

For Richer or Poorer 1997
I can definitely see why some people growing up with this movie would love it so much but as a first time watcher, I’m surprised at how boring it was.
I love both Tim Allen and Kristy Alley in other movies but this one they were just… bad. They both look great in ‘97 but I’m wondering if there was some tension on set irl?

Ice Princess 2005
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
After Michelle Trachtenberg tragically passed, I decided to watch this comfort movie for old times sake.
I might be biased but it feels like a timeless, inspirational story that has surprisingly aged well. Essentially, it's about a girl who realizes her ever loving passion for ice skating amidst a complex physic project for a scholarship. She decides to pursue her own dreams instead of her mother's, which is going to Harvard after high school.
Yes I cried like a baby…

Titanic 1997
Definition of a classic. Shows the stunning, luxurious side of the rich in the 1910's, along with their unrelenting bigotry. Also shows the beautiful freedom of living life day to day as an adventure through the eyes of a poor guy in that time period.
It then shifts halfway to a terrifying, action film that's a overwhelming depiction of how the Titanic sank.
Will never get tired of this film.

Legends of the Fall 1994
To start off, I have to say the breathtaking scenery and profound soundtrack take this already great movie to the next level.
Almost every main character is worthy of complete adoration and every single one of them suffers unimaginable losses. The film takes places basically through an entire generation— death, love, family, politics, honor, tradition. So many ways this movie touches your heart. It’s an incredibly well thought out film.
