  I get it but… so what? I wasn’t confused or anything like I had expected. Overall, I felt all of it was awfully convenient and not in a way that felt “universal”, but rather plotted by a man who thinks he’s a philosopher? I’m not trying to be negative!
  It gave “‘I connected the dots!’ No you didn’t connect shit” towards the end.

  Definitely some thoughtful and even cute at times commentary on humanity, our planet, and psychology. But also…

  I don’t have words… 1990’s attempt at camp. Raised it to one star for the fashion and fantastical interiors, which truly carried the film. Lili Taylor’s acting and the execution of the story are horrendous, but seeing young Owen Wilson let me finish it through, at least. Ghostbusters-esque effects, but carried out to take themselves seriously, which shouldn’t be in the same sentence.
