The Blair Witch Project 1999
I was able to watch a new remaster of Blair Witch where they restore the original Hi8 Tapes and 16mm film to how they were intended to be seen, and it completely changed the film. For context, the original Blair Witch was shot on those formats, and then transferred both types of film to a consistent 35mm film. With this new restoration, the film looks brand new, and, even better, it feels legitimately scarier. This film has always creeped me…

Never as bad as I remember it to be, but you can tell the franchise is starting to slow-up a bit at this point. Still though, we get classic Jason and some cool ideas thrown into the mix. Shame on the MPAA for their takedown of this movie.
