Absolute Cinema.
My girlfriend Leiana Cried to this movieSonic films are first and foremost kids movies which becomes immediately evident in their predictable dialogue and mostly awful jokes. Just like its predecessors it is given life only by an incredible performances by people like Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves, and Lee Majdoub (Agent Stone) who gave this silly little movie their all and made it actually and unironically pretty darn good.

Okay so I had to watch this for my film class and I appreciate that it was assigned because I would never have watched it on my own. This movie is good- obviously. It was nominated for everything best actors, best director, best cinematographer, everything. It portrayed a lesser seen group and their struggles in realistic places that obviously spoke to many people who could relate. Besides that I’m able to admit that this movie just wasn’t for me. It was still nice to get out of my comfort zone.
