Saving Mr. Banks 2013
Whilst I’m not pleased at how much of the actual story and Travers’ own accounts seem to have been smoothed over in the name of Disney, and those flashbacks are beyond painful for at least the first half of the film, I did just find myself enjoying this one - go figure.
The performances are great, Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks with a host of other enjoyable characters, including a particularly upbeat Jason Schwartzman.

Honestly, didn't think I was gonna do reviews but what in the fuck was this? Some beautiful cinematography, stellar performances from Bardem and Lawrence, just a shame it's one of the most anxiety inducing films imaginable. 2 hours on edge for frankly, very little payoff. Is the use of repetition enough to drive it home Darren? Aside from the sweltering confusion and enough pretentious crap to please even the most bitter of critics, it's good to know that the Bible still has some fans. Worth it? I wouldn't.
