  This movie was deeply horrific in ways that I was not prepared for. The characters portrayed in this film feel incredibly real, and the cycles of misery they inflict on each other feel familiar. I think the most disturbing thing about this film is that the horrors Insiang experiences are profoundly terrible but viscerally real.
