Captain America: The First Avenger 2011
Watching the movie 2011. “Wow this is so awesome the cgi looks so good, how are they going to top this!”
Watching the movie in 2019. “What the heck he’s literally just running on a treadmill with a green screen and why did they use a Snapchat filter for skinny Steve? Also did that German switch to an American accent? Oh wait look it’s Elrond!”
The movie ages more like Vince Vaungh and less like Tom Cruise. The characters are great as always.

The reason you don’t like this movie is because it is a shot for shot adaption of the original 1994 movie. It’s like you took a teenager from the 90’s and dressed him up like a teenager in the 2010’s. He is going to be confused and not like what he is wearing because he is attached to his own style.
