No Other Land 2024
This is one of the more intense films I’ve ever watched. I went to a screening at the Harvard Divinity School, and the whole room was silent for a while after it ended. There is a lot of trauma and grief to bear witness to here. I’m grateful it was nominated for an Oscar, otherwise I’m not sure I would’ve been able to see it. But the point is not to win the Oscar; the point is to stop the senseless violence and let people live in peace in their homes.
