  With exactly zero complaints regarding the Bryan Singer shaped void now in the X-MEN franchise, Simon Kinberg's lean, uncluttered, dramatically mature directing style is a blast of fresh air.

  That said, everyone wears varying levels of embarrassment while on set for this one and the line delivery here is very obviously a contractual obligation.

  I gotta admit though, a warm, fuzzy feeling started mutating inside me when Erik and Charles busted out the chess set in the final scene.
