  i’m not one for judging movie tastes but if you didn’t like it i’m afraid you just don’t get it. :/

  First time i’ve felt something at the movies in a long time. i think i had an anxiety attack halfway through but i was so enamored that i couldn’t leave. 

  also the amount of people misinterpreting this is astonishingly high for how polarizing of a message it has…..how disappointing

  during this movie i had exactly two thoughts.

  1) Holy shit kinda hot wounded viking santa david harbour man bun wowza 

  2) what should i write as my letterboxd review??

  Absolutely chocked full of christmas spirit. did enjoy, though i don’t think i’ll see it again. 

  Not gonna lie, the sheer absurdity and stupidness of it got some good chuckles out of me.
  Also i really enjoyed the first santa fight scene. 

  if they made a viking santa origin story i would go see it i think.

  The Cat Returns 2002

  Giggling and kicking my feet in the air right now. This is THE most light-hearted and cozy movie. It has a kind of lack of serious conflict which some people think is boring, but i just think it makes it wonderfully cozy. 

  This film is the definition of short and sweet. It doesn’t waste any time (it’s about an hour long) but it also isn’t jam packed with other stuff. It’s perfect for me, compositionally.

  It’s definitely not the most complex of stories from studio ghibli, and nowhere near the best. BUT i love it so myuuuch.
