Though Jackie Chan gets more comfortable in his role as the franchise progresses, he seems a bit timid in his acting here, or the character was not written well. He comes across as a foolish, beginner agent who somehow has advanced fighting skills, not the guy who we are told dismantled Juntao’s empire.
Chris Tucker carries the movie and delivers some great lines.

Theologically rich. So much could be said. I’d definitely watch again, both for the reflection it brings and the genuine humor. Forky steals the show. Great scriptwriting. Had me tearing up a few times.
Great soundtrack, very well fitting.
Classic Samuel L. Jackson QT film appearance. He seems to barely change his performance from film to film. Somehow it works.
Pam Grier nailed the titular role.
Not as gory as other QT films, though just as bloody. Most of the violence contributed to the story, which I can’t say about many his films (and I’m a fan of QT).
The themes of loyalty and trust figure pretty strongly.. and the near unbreakable bonds that are formed in traumatic situations.
Great performances from many of the cast.
I don’t consume many heist-related movies, but this felt refreshing in light of the ones I have seen and generally lacks plot holes…
