Where the Wild Things Are 2009
Only watched about 30-45 minutes of this and had to turn it off. Maybe it’s an objectively good movie but it’s just too freaking weird. So freaky. You might as well call this movie freak in the woods. The whole film is a like a visual representation of a dream that would occur if you fell asleep after consuming 500 mg of Benadryl, half a bottle of melatonin, and a six pack of beer. I just felt like a baby bird after watching this. Like I needed a little worm. Feel like I’m genuinely crashing out. I need to get some sleep.

The Martian 2015
Good movie. Mark Watney reminds me of my dad. He used to watch this a lot when I was younger so it gave me some nostalgia. I also think this is a rare case where the movie is better than the book.
