  No movie will make you appreciate showers more.

  Some guy walks around in shit for almost 4 hours, seeing shit and doing shit along the way, and then it ends on some philosophical shit about the nature of humanity or some shit. It’s in Russian so you have to read it. And afterwards you’re left feeling like, “damn that was rough”. But mostly because you were on your 9th “that’s crazy” when the film still had an hour left.

  Just silly enough to warrant its own existence.

  Robin Williams’ first movie! Completely absurd.
  In some ways, it works, the cartoonish elements are novel and fresh. Great physical comedy and animated performances. At its worst, Popeye’s weird bulgy forearm prosthetics.

  Plot is nonsense, climax sucked, apparently they ran out of money (20M) and they blew the budget of the set of the town. I like what they tried, even if the entire thing was pointless and unnecessary. A few good…

  Super classic film from my youth. Nicholas Cage really goes all out in this one. Also btw he can see 2 minutes in the future.

  It’s a really funny movie, Jodie Foster and him have 0 chemistry. Random hot girl shows up and he uses his powers to seduce her.

  Random shit is not explained and is completely nonsensical. Really abrupt ending with little resolution. Really shit CGI even for mid-2000s standards.

  So bad… it’s good!

  Woman in the Dunes 1964

  Hell yes. Don’t look anything up about this one.
  I wish I didn’t watch the trailer.

  So thematically on point, so fucking profound.
  Very well-written. I was gripped practically the entire movie, maybe some odd pacing here and there. Nothing too bad, but its length does sometimes become noticeable.

  Great acting, production design, blocking, cinematography, it’s just so well produced in so many ways.

  I have few complaints, but maybe it could have been cut down, slightly faster scenes… but…
