Some truly bizarre sound choices and unnecessary subplots, but a decent war movie that emphasizes the utter banality and arbitrary nature of war.

The Batman 2022
A flawed movie however you want to approach it: a pastiche of tropes and references to better movies, a three act structure that doesn't work at all, Batman seemingly both a ragged, aged old man and also a petulant child who angrily protests to Alfred that he is not his dad(?), a total lack of light that sinply made it impossible to understand what was going on, illogical plot points, and bad fight choreography. The only thing saving this movie is Farrell's Penguin and the fact that Pattinson at least hit the brooding part of the character. A baffling film for what it intended to be.

Strange Days 1995
Shocked that I've never heard of this movie before, but what a film. Y2K paranoia meets a suspense thriller meets a dystopian pseudo-scifi meets Angela Bassett just acting circles around everyone (not a bad performance in the film, however) while looking as good as a human being ever has. Strong recommend.
