  i really do feel that this is massively overhyped, to the point that my expectations of the movie completely overrode the film itself. very nice story and charlie is extremely relatable, but also just…eh.

  (would like to add that the book is great and the movie’s visuals are awesome, but i think i was expecting more than i got)
