  I think it was good that the movie focused on feminism and the harm of the patriarchy however I don’t think it went into enough depth. I guess the whole point of barbie was that it was always going to be pretty surface level. However as a result of this I just didn’t enjoy it and I thought the plot was a bit bland. I think I was expecting more given the hype so might have been a bit harsh, therefore I wrote an apology haiku:

  Please don’t cancel me
  I’m not a misogynist
  I just didn’t like it
