Nolan's insanely aggressive sound design worked against a movie that should've played more with the tension of endless waiting created in the first couple of scenes. Nothing sets off sound like silence, and the quiet minutes of this film probably clock in pretty close to the minutes spent watching Fionn Whitehead trying to wipe his ass with Nazi Propaganda - more than 2, less than 5.
