  Feels like the kind of movie I’d make if I were a talented writer/director. My personal movie of the year. Yet another example of why practical effects need to make a comeback. Deliriously entertaining, gory, and camp.

  this was just okay. definitely anxiety inducing and entertaining, but a few things didn’t work for me. The visual effects for the character they resurrected from the previous movies looked awful. The 3rd act was just a smidge too long and the xenomorphs just weren’t as scary as I was expecting. Felt like they were just playing around. There were also quite a few scenes that seemed way too unbelievable, even for an Alien movie. Overall tho, I didn’t think it was awful, it just wasn’t that good.

  I simply love this movie to bits. Pretty much one of the few teen flicks to survive the ages. And that soundtrack, oh god that soundtrack!!
