I love Jack Quaid! Bear in mind I say this as someone who has not seen a single frame of The Boys, but instead knows him as a recurring guest on Podcast But Outside. His most recent appearance there was what really convinced me to go see this, completely blind. Anyone who knows me knows this is totally not my genre of choice, yet I really enjoyed this! Don’t take it too seriously!

Some really funny moments and the production design was pretty good. The tight editing was annoying though. I’m not sure why they cut every extra beat and breath out of each set as if it needed to be 40ish minutes to make time for TV ads. Isn’t that the advantage of going direct to streaming?
