Matt and Mara 2024
I don't know anyone in this age group and in this social class but I feel like in the future I will and I feel like this will be accurate to the early to mid 30s academic/arts grind.
I loved the chemistry between all of the actors. The way the shots would linger during a silence were nice. That scene when Mara said she doesn't listen to music filled me with so much anxiety.
That ending broke my heart, that last shot loaded with so much meaing.

Nosferatu 2024
This was a fun way to celebrate the New Year. I have only seen Lily Rose in Yoga Hosers and the first 3 episodes of the Idol so I wasn't expecting alot but she was incredible. People clowning on her performance are stupid. She shown such great physicality and fit this role perfectly.
The performances were great as they tend to be in Eggers films. I loved the changes made to Count Orlok. I love when vampires are Vlad coded.
Visually it was nice on the eyes as well. It did feel like it was missing something but I'm not sure what.
