It's Bong Joon Ho, of course it's good. Couldn't help feeling a little disappointed though. Mark Ruffalo occupies the Tilda Swinton role here but his performance is a little too "SNL Trump" for me.
It felt like retreading old ground a bit, like Bong put Okja & Snowpiercer in a blender. Subtlety may be thrown to the wind but Robert Pattinson has arguably never been better, and gets to do some fantastic physical comedy here.

From what I'd heard leading up to The Batman's release, I thought DC had abandoned their useless attempts to create an extended universe. Apparently not. Instead, we got an over-long meandering story with plenty of inconsequential scenes intended to set up a sequel with the 50th iteration of The Joker and a HBO Max series about The Penguin.
