An absorbing, slow-burning psychological drama that tonally shifts into thriller territory at times.
Don’t hear this one talked about a lot and it’s damn hard to find so if you come across it, check it out while you can. I’m sure it’s long overdue for a blu-ray update.
I have a feeling this is the kind of thing I’ll end up appreciating more with a rewatch.

Continually gets more satisfying with each viewing. Compelling from start to finish. Frame after frame - never a stale moment. Clarice Starling is one of the all-time cinematic heroes, and of course, Hannibal Lecter remains one of the most iconic villains in movie history.

Blockbuster action movies are not exactly my forte. I fall behind pretty quickly as far as keeping up with a particular series goes (You don’t even wanna know how far I’m behind on the MCU). Honestly, I don’t know why I ever doubt the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movies though (Knock on wood: FALLOUT). There is not one of these that I don’t like.
