Ok so I loved the little tardigrades but this is so jumbled and choppy. It's a lot of fun but it feels like lots of pieces of scenes placed together rather than one continuous whole. Two extended exposition dumps done via voiceover just wasn't for me. Can I buy a cuddly Creeper?

Found this film most interesting when it was juxtaposing their two different experiences of queerness. Never found their relationship particularly believable but it might be because I just didn't like Max very much. What was also compelling was Layla's family dynamics, the coming out scene felt real. With Layla having to apologise for their inability to trust their sister, entirely rightly in my view, based on her past actions. It's hard even with those who accept you.
