The sonic movies are not oscar worthy performances, but they are leagues better the video games movies of the past. And enjoyable watch from start to finish even if the movie kinda foreshadowed how this was going to end within the first 20 minutes. Worth a watch for any sonic fan or someone with kids.

When Evil Lurks 2023
Now this is a horror movie. What makes the movies fantastic is that you're given rules for how the main cast is supposed to deal with the evil, yet they, and the main character imparticular, consistently fail to follow them and fall prey to their own impatience, ignorance, insecurities or just pure fear and the evil constantly makes them pay for it. Not to mention this movie is cruel, even children aren't safe from meeting extremely grisly ends or even taking part in them. This is a miserable horror movie in the best of ways and great if you want hopeless horror.
