I Am Easy to Find 2019
I've watched this three times now, The National has been consistently gifting me with great music since 2007 (when I first discovered them). The album has this great symbiotic relationship with the making of this film, Mike Mills & Alicia Vikander elevate the entire experience I just have no words.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 2001
I'm pretty sure I've watched it over 20 times and I still notice new things every time? This time it's one of the manuscripts (Akallabeth) Gandalf finds in Minas Tirith where it details how Sauron tricked Ar-Pharazon (king of Numenor, Aragorn's ancestor) into waging war against the Valar (Gods of Middle-earth) which led to the downfall of Numenor. Ar-Pharazon, like Isildur showed the weakness & greed of men..Aragorn knew the history of how power corrupted the people in his line and feared he would become like his ancestors.
I find myself ranting about LOTR way too often... anyway THIS IS A CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE AND THAT'S THAT.Translated from by -
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003
Sam: 'There and Back again, a Hobbit's Tale by Bilbo Baggins'… and 'The Lord of the Rings by Frodo Baggins.' You finished it!" ..... BITCH I FINISHED IT !!!!
I really don't use the word masterpiece a lot, and if anything is a masterpiece...it's the LOTR trilogy with its perfect ending. This really is a war movie, it's incredibly dark but does such a good job of convincing you that there's always hope. Yes, even the smallest person can change…
