i watched this movie last night. i’m still puzzling over it. it doesn’t seem to have much to say, and yet, seems to cover a great swath of emotional topics. it gently hop across “are we destined to become our fathers?” “evil permeates our world no matter how hard we turn a blind eye to it” “desperate times call for desperate measures” “it’s sort of ok to bang your bros girl if she’s hot enough and you actually love her” as a frog might hop across lily pads. never long enough to really feel the waters temperature.
