Better Man 2024
This was bizarrely compelling?? I, an American, had no idea who Robbie Williams was before hearing about this movie and seeing clips on the artist formerly known as Twitter. The "addicted mess of a pop star" story works so well as a monkey story. It's much sadder to watch a monkey descend into the addles of coke and alcohol addiction than it would be to watch a British man do the same. If you have a couple hours, I'd definitely give it a watch. There's some pretty good music sprinkled throughout and it's a pretty good story as well.

Wow, what a flick! Another case of men making movies about sex workers which is always Something but I enjoyed the ride. Nomi was a really compelling character trying to navigate the crazy world of Vegas. I kinda wish we had learned a little more about some of the side characters but I guess it wasn't about them.
