Palm Springs 2020
Genuinely one of the best metaphors for depression ever committed to screen. The sense of betrayal when someone close to you who is also in the cycle learns the tools they need to pull themselves out of it, feeling like they’ve left you behind, followed by the realization that it is in fact an act of love by trying to share those same tools with you. I’ve seen this movie at least 12 times and it always hits.
