An amazing roller coaster of a movie. It was super engaging throughout, and the story is so morally ambiguous a lot of the time. I feel like this is a good movie that shows how a movie that can have far deeper meaning through analysis can also be interesting and fun at the same time. I thought this movie was exciting, but I was disappointed by the ending. From what I understand, the ending wasn't meant to be particularly "appealing" but rather more thought-provoking. I personally wasn't moved by the ulterior meanings of the movie/ending, so I would have preferred to just see the movie through the end normally, but I understand that there is value in deviating from the traditional path. Overall, I wouldn't watch this movie again, but I wasn't mad with watching it either. It was a pretty. middle-of-the-road movie for me despite starting out well in the especially.

Beautifully animated movie and makes me want to watch more DreamWorks stuff. The story was cool, and obviously, the movie is tailored toward children, but it's still just as engaging as an adult. Really glad I watched this with my little sister since this is now one of my favorite animated movies. It started out a little slow, but so many things happened that were so cool and exciting throughout the film.

I don't think I'm the target demographic here. Very emotional movie, and I could understand and feel something for parts of it since everyone knows what dysfunctional families or relationships feel like, but I feel like I didn't really understand the meaning behind a lot of scenes. Throughout the whole movie, it felt like there were artistic choices being made that just completely flew over my head, so it was a super weird feeling. I'll definitely read up on the…
