Excellent slow/medium paced, atmospheric, contemplative and metaphorical folk horror, obviously very much Terrence Malick influenced.

The Northman 2022
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Visually superb but as predictable as it gets. Yeah I know it has been adapted from nordic legend/Shakespeare but I reckon Eggers was given artistic freedom to express his creativity and imagination and to at least slightly alter the storyline/ending and make it more unpredictable.

Landscape Suicide 1986
I felt really strong (early) Haneke vibes in this one. Yeah I know his first feature was filmed after this so I don't know, I presume his early style was maybe influenced by this film (at least to some extent).
