loved. blaxploitation coincides with the black power mvmt, i think. is it a reflection of it? i spent time in the movie wondering how the clothing/fashion silhouettes in the movie came about. the 70s are a really interesting time.
i thought the idea of blacula inhereting the sins of og dracula was a metaphor for america. how black people are cursed by pale ppl with their situation in the rat race of cptlsm, cause they [palm ppl] cant stand being the only ones suffering but they also need to have control by being an oppressor.
