Hondros 2017
we need more people like hondros who are brave and selfless enough to shine a light on the places where darkness dwells when nobody else will.
though the documentary runs on a basic format, the footage of hondros and his team in action makes up for the simplicity of it. i truly thought it was incredibly captured; both the footage and hondros’s raw images.
this was a very interesting and eye opening doc, and it covered the career of an extraordinary person.

Metropolis does not shy away from it’s symbolistic choices, handed to us on a silver platter is it’s recurring message “There can be no understanding between the hands and the head unless the heart acts as a mediator” The head being the upper class, the wealthy and privileged, the hands being the exploited workers whom live in the depths of the city, and the mediator being the messiah to unite the bridge between the two classes.
