Patrick McHale's Over the Garden Wall is a true masterpiece. A short series that is clocked in under two hours, there is a lot to unpack and digest regarding themes of human character and the very nature of how an individual perceives obstacles and challenges. Greg's optimism and positive energy contrast greatly with Wirt's skepticism and inability to show assertiveness and certainty. Each chapter tackles a different theme that makes the series as a whole much more enjoyable.
