Shadow of the Vampire 2000
A film of the unorthodox from top to bottom. Incredibly bizarre concept birthed of rumors. Watching the movie they're making within, thinking about the production of the whole thing. On top of all the history and mystery these images and ideas provoke. Shadow of the Vampire is worth your time. Authentic Czechoslovakia sets and time appropriate performances are the fire word to its Obscurity as Gasoline and by the end it feels like a bonfire.

Cool concept carried by some great actors. Michael Jai White deserved a lot more than we gave him. Though here as he often does, we get the most out of what he does have.
