The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003
What went into Return of the King was phenomenal on all sides. The aspects that pushed it into the celestial plane, is the musical composition, the set design, the makeup, the costumes, and the acting. Weta Workshop was beyond phenomenal. There is so much more, but I believe a lot of these fields of work get overlooked in blockbuster movies. The time and effort that went into every little detail of this movie made it my favorite ever.
