I Saw the TV Glow 2024
This was so devastating in the most beautiful and nostalgic way.
There’s a comfortable torture in staying some place that feels familiar and safe. This movie explores that in a person who struggles with not knowing what’s right for them.
Seeing our main character looking back to find what they thought were cherished memories turning into a distorted otherworldly past was something I hadn’t expected to be made so uncomfortable by.
There were clever audio tricks that took me a moment to realize they were happening and when I did they made me question the truth.
It was a great movie.
