Wasn't really feeling this movie and then we got to the part where he falls into and becomes a cat... after that I was just waiting for the movie to end.
I applaud the balls to tackle these kinds of ideas (life, death, purpose, our role in the world) but dont think it does a good job following through and landing. It felt hollow and boring. Didn't care for the characters, didn't care for the story, felt completely detached from it.

Against my better judgment, I watched this movie without having seen the first one, but when the movie came on the TV, I couldn't look away. It is such a beautiful, sweet movie with a great cast. I watched it with my wife and my 2 year old niece and all three of us were hooked.
Can't wait to see the previous one.
