  I didn't realize how many of these songs I knew from just being alive. This cast is incredible though. Norm Lewis is always great. There were a couple story beats that get sort of lost in the concert medium and editing, but I wanted to see a good cast performance before watching the movie

  I have heard so much about this movie, but not enough to know the plot like other classic horror films. Usually when I'm familiar with a killer or monster the movie itself doesn't scare me. While The Thing didn't scare me in the traditional sense, it affected me while watching it. The acting was great all around, especially Kurt Russell, Keith David, and the dog.
