  I’ve seen a lot of reviews on here saying it’s Barbie but disturbed. It’s very abstract and at times may try a tad too hard, but I have to say there’s nothing else quite like it, so for that alone it earns my respect. 
  Others have called it pornographic. There is a lot of sex and nudity in the movie, but Ai would argue that pornography is made to arouse and titillate. If this movie aroused you then you should…

  This is my favourite horror movie. It sets the scene, invests in the characters and is the right amount of abstract. Shame about Beau Is Afraid. Perhaps Asta set the bar too high with this one.

  I feel like this movie doesn’t look at the cause of the war intentionally just as it’s protagonists must stay neutral. It reminded me of another great movie A Zone Of Interest in the way it explores how we behave and what we can ignore.
  I left the cinema feeling quite shocked, that is something I enjoy.
