The movie is cemented as the GOAT for me primarily because it’s a core memory where I went to the theatre first day first show with my dad. A brilliant movie that really shows how letting yourself breakdown has the consequence of letting the people you care about get hurt.

This movie showed me the melancholy that comes with seeing your first love move on. It showed me the loss, the pain, the fear and the realisation that no matter how much you love someone, sometimes you’re not the one who can stay with along the way. Punched me in the gut and made me feel things I didn’t want to.
