Wild Strawberries 1957
I honestly don’t even know how to put this film into words- it was a movie that oozed with loneliness and melancholy and yet it ends on an optimistic note. The protagonist’s character was so incredibly complex- he was selfish, self isolating and practical to the boot and yet the film makes you empathise with him. You understand more about him through his dreams and you see him grow through his interactions with others during the road trip. This was such a good movie

The romance, the chemistry, the yearning. Oh my god. Every glance, every touch just oozes with love and want.
